Biography
I am now a 2nd-year graduate student at UIUC, working with Prof. Xin Liu on cosmology and machine-learning applications on Astronomy. I am a member of LSST DESC, and am mostly involved in the pixels-to-objects working groups. Before I came to UIUC, I got my bachelor's degree in Physics at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). In my free time, I enjoy playing video games and reading ancient Chinese philosophy.
Research Interests
I currently have two focuses in my research. On one hand, I aim to get galaxy properties from pixelized images with advanced ML techniques, in order to get a fast and robust pipeline for an astronomical catalog. Especially, I am working in LSST DESC, building a robust ML-based weak lensing shape
On the other hand, I am also working on Simulation-Based Inference for cosmology, especially targeting the baryonic feedback effect and dark matter properties.
