Astrophysics student featured on UIUC Talkshow

Astrophysics student and Stamps Scholar Eryn Van Wijk recently appeared on the UIUC Talkshow to discuss astronomy, philosophy, music, art, science, college, and the challenges of figuring out what comes next.

The nearly five-hour conversation offers a wide-ranging look at Eryn's interests and experiences at Illinois, including their work with the Illinois Astronomical Society and their journey from arriving at Illinois undeclared to pursuing astrophysics and philosophy.

The episode also explores how a conversation that began as a student friendship experiment eventually led Eryn to reach out to physicist and author Sean Carroll—and to an opportunity to speak with him.
