Biography
I am a first-year graduate student interested in Survey Astronomy, LSST, and Data Science. I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Washington Seattle (GO DAWGS). During my time as an undergrad, I worked on Data Science/Management projects including those with the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) and the Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST). After I graduated, I worked independently as a Software Developer for B612 Foundation's Asteroid Institute, as a Research Assistant for the UW Astronomy Department's Data-intensive Research in Astrophysics and Cosmology (DiRAC) Institute, and as technical support for the LSST Interdisciplinary Network for Collaboration and Computing (LINCC). After working with asteroid data from LSST simulations and testing asteroid prediction software, I am ready to move my astronomical data science interests to Extragalactic and Time-domain sources.
