Many of our introductory courses will requires students to complete some observing sessions. These are

Planetarium Observing Sessions: A trip to the Parkland Planetarium with specific content designed for our students.

Night Observing Sessions: A trip to the on-campus Observatory to look through the historic 12-inch telescope, enjoy amateur class telescopes in the back yard, and find constellations. Weather dependent.

Solar Observing Sessions: A trip to the on-campus Observatory to look at the Sun (with proper protection) to look for sunspots and solar prominences. Weather dependent.
