I'm a 5th year PhD student working on post-starburst galaxies with Tony Wong (primary advisor) and Decker French (secondary advisor). I'm using near-infrared data from FIRE/Magellan of 50 PSBs to understand star-formation and the state of the molecular gas in these galaxies and how these properties evolve over time. I'm also using mock MaNGA observations of galaxies in TNG50 to determine the origin of a newly discovered class of PSBs called ring post-starburst galaxies.
