If you are comfortable speaking with department faculty:

An approach to consider is to address your letter to one person but copy one or more additional people.  This will prompt a reply, while also initiating a conversation amongst the leadership.

For issues where one or both parties are students:

• Graduate College Grievance Procedure: see the Graduate College Handbook
• Office of Student Conflict Resolution

For issues that are impacting faculty or staff (including postdocs):

• Faculty/Staff Assistance and Well-Being Services (FSAWS)

For any incidents that negatively impact one’s sense of belonging:

• Submit a Campus Belonging Report

For reports of sexual misconduct:

• Title IX Office provides step by step instructions, including guidance on mandated and anonymous reporting
• Confidential resources include the Women’s Resources Center, FSAWS, and the Counseling Center.
